The 2nd edition of VCCircle Awards, which will celebrate the impact of private equity and venture capital on Indian businesses, will be held on February 20, 2013, at JW Marriott, Mumbai. The awards ceremony will be held on the first day of VCCircle flagship annual event `VCCircle India Limited Partn ers Summit 2013' (Feb 20-21 at the same venue), which will see a gathering of top global and Indian private equity investors.

The awards, held annually, pick the most outstanding Indian companies that have not only had a tremendous growth in their respective industries, but also had a longstanding impact on the economy and the industry in general. For this year's awards, we will pick companies that have had at least one round of funding since Jan 1, 2007.

The awards will also recognise the best intermediaries-law firms and investment banks --that have facilitated such investments. The time frame for awards for investment banks and law firms categories will be calendar year 2012. An expert jury, to be announced soon, will comprise industry veterans, academicians and consultants.
